Whenever I wear a skirt or skinnies with a dominating print or pattern, like my Aqua skirt above, I always try to pair it with a basic top to avoid a little thing I like to call the dreaded fash clash. Typically you never want to compete with your outfits stand out piece, but like everything in fashion, the rules don't always apply. Sometimes, the busy bottom, basic top combo just doesn't feel like enough. When this is the case, accessorizing becomes extra essential. For a night out... opt for a statement necklace, like my favorite piece from Jess David, which you may remember seeing here. For a chic day ensemble, skip the fancy accessories and go for a bright scarf. The affordable addition is a great way to insert color into a neutral look. To compliment my spring ensemble I added my Luxor ring from JewelMint, my pink stone ring by MACA Clothe, and my favorite LC by Lauren Conrad sandals. For those of you who follow the Fash Boulevard fan page you may have seen my post over the weekend about bumping into Jessica Alba while flying back to LA from the East Coast. The style maven was rocking some seriously hot pink skinnies and of course, an adorable scarf. Below you'll find some of my favorite celebs styled with one of springs most essential accessories. Whose scarf are you crushing on the most?

jStyle tip: For a more flattering look, keep your scarf loose and away from your neck, like I'm wearing above. For an extra hint of fabulous, try tying your scarf into a girly bow, which you may remember seeing me do here.
