I'm absolutely dying over the Fall 2011 Dior Couture collection. The fashion world has been on the edge of their seats waiting with bated breath to see what the first Galliano-less show in 15 years was going to bring and the result did not disappoint. Bill Gaytten, the new genius behind the brand, brought his fabulously over the top visions to fruition in this breathtaking and memorable Fall Couture collection. I am seriously dying over the opening of the show which was filled with 80's inspired designs and pastel colors. And obviously I'm fainting over the beyond fabulous oversized fascinators. Maybe I'm just partial because my fiance and I are having a Mad Hatter engagement party at the end of the month and when it comes to head decor, I'm looking for inspiration wherever I can find it. The reaction to the collection, which transitions from 80's to vibrant flowing chiffon, has been mixed with some critiquing its "lack of cohesion." Yes, the collection certainly has a gap, but when each piece is this beautiful, I can't complain. I think it is creative, inventive, and visually stunning. Below are my favorite looks from the Fall 2011 Couture show. Visit Style.com to view the complete collection. Which look is your favorite?
