Info Post

Rachel Bilson stepped out on Thursday at the Tribeca Film Festival to debut her series of short films for Magnum ice cream which were directed by the multi-talented Karl Lagerfeld. While directing the films Karl revealed, “My doctor tells me that I cannot have sugar so really, I hate ice cream because I can’t have it, but I love the vanilla flavor.” The fashion maven who recently shot a pilot for CW looked stunning in a Chanel Haute Couture dress from their spring 2010 collection. Rachel, my love, when you're BBM buddies with the legendary Karl Lagerfeld you should always use the opportunity to dazzle in the newest Chanel dress of the moment. Fash rule numero uno. Needless to say, the gorgeous actress paired the light pink silk embroidered strapless dress with a shell shaped Chanel clutch and black Christian Louboutin pumps. Always willing to lose a few masculine points in favor of fashion, the ultra fabulous Karl looked dapper with his very own clutch. The fashion gate keeper herself, Anna Wintour also made a cameo at the event looking intimidatingly stunning in a floral print dress and an amazing statement necklace.

With the fashion world in his hands, you would think Karl had every bit of his hopes and dreams fulfilled. But the man behind Chanel recently revealed his secret love. “If I weren’t in fashion I would be in advertising. I don’t have an agency though, maybe I should create an agency, no?” I guess this is why we've seen him so hands on with photography and directing… like the Chanel ad featuring Blake Lively that Karl shot himself. I'm simply going wild over these pictures. Any moment Karl Lagerfeld uses his clutch to whisper in your ear, is a moment worth remembering.

Below are additional pictures from the event. Can’t wait to see the full length features. Are you loving Rachel haute couture look?

Something Extra: Check out some of the other looks from the incredible Chanel 2010 Haute Couture collection. It was hard to narrow it down to only four.
